home > students > internships > Int'l Guide Directory of International InternshipsMichigan State University announces the 5th edition of the Directory of International Internships published in collaboration with the Offices of International Studies and Programs and Career Services and Placement. The Directory of International Internships has 170 pages of entries of international internships sponsored by educational institutions, government agencies, and private organizations. Topical entries include subject areas, number of internships, objectives, description, location, duration, financial data, eligibility, stipulations, guidelines, and contact information including name, address, telephone, fax, e-mail, and website. Other features of the Directory of International Internships include indexes of topics in geographical areas listed by countries as well as geographical areas listed by topic. The indexes are organized in an alphabetical cross-reference format that gives easy access to international internship information. The Directory of International Internships also lists internship sponsors such as educational institutions, government agencies, private organizations, etc., and where they are located. An annotated bibliography in the directory has pertinent reference works and articles on international internships. Other sections focus on "finding the right internship", "what is a quality internship and the evaluation process", as well as "advantages and disadvantages of an international internship."
