May 2008 Short Course
Digital Photography in Japan
Digital Photography in Japan embraces current trends in photography and offers students an opportunity to explore digital capture in the historically significant Kansai region of central Japan including the cities of Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka. Through a series of field sessions, lectures, critiques, and digital imaging demonstrations, students wil create online portfolios of photographs revealing their impressions of this amazing region. Basic camera, computer, and digital imaging software skills are required. A digital SLR camera and a laptop computer are required.
JCMU students may opt to take the Digital Photography in Japan course for either two or three weeks. Additional costs will apply for the third week (see below).
NOTE: Students participating in the Digital Photography in Japan course will be charged an additional fee for a Japan Rail Pass: two week pass - $410.00
