We are pleased to announce the Fourth Annual CLACS Undergraduate Student Conference, Latin America & the Caribbean Trends & Traditions: Polarities & Solidarities scheduled for March 28-30, 2007.

Students from all disciplines are encouraged to submit abstracts of papers or poster presentations on topics related to Latin America and the Caribbean such as migration, environment, biodiversity, education, finance, trade, social movements, history, politics, development, media, arts and literature. Undergraduate students from other institutions are welcome to participate.



   

Call for Papers & Presentations
Deadline for Proposals:
February 28, 2007

Send abstract to clacs@msu.edu

All proposals will be considered. Notification of accepted proposals will be sent out by e-mail the first week of March, 2007 and posted on the conference website. This year we will award six awards to outstanding papers.

Best Paper Awards
1st Place - $125
2nd Place - $100
3rd Place - $75
Honorable Mention - $50 (3 awards)
