On October 19, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. students in the Haslett English as a Second Language Program enjoyed visits in area homes.  They were enthusiastically and graciously welcomed by Marian Burchfield, John and Betty Duley, James and Lorrie Dyal, Dan and Linda Lauzun, Kathie Niemeyer, and Arlene Roe.  The homes were in East Lansing, Lansing, Okemos, and Mason.

The drivers who took the students to the homes were Frank and Wann Cremins, James Dyal, Bonnie Ghavami, Ann McCall, Maria Maes, Carolyn Schuurmans, Wilma Schwartz, Elizabeth Rimpau, Mitsuko Marx, Shirley Rumminger, and Jean Cymbalski.

The visits are valued events for the students -- and anticipated by the hosts and drivers also.  It is gratifying that people ask to "stay on the list." for entertaining and driving.
