Coffee Partners

Home visits for the morning English as a Second Language classes were held on Tuesday, October 25. The students visited in the homes of Marian Burchfield, John and Betty Duley, Beverly Ferguson, Bonnie Ghavami, Dan and Linda Lauzun, Kathleen Niemeyer, Mandy Powers, Arline Roe, Shirley Rumminger and Betty Spata.

Our valued drivers (it couldn't happen without them) were Dorothy Cook, Shari Coulson, Frank Cremins, James Dyal, Cynthia Johnston, Maria Maes, Mitsuko Marx, Ann McCall, Elizabeth Rimpau, David Rumminger, Dottie Schmidt, Carolyn Schuurmans, Wilma Schwartz and LouAnn Stark-Dykema.

The homes visited were in Okemos, East Lansing, Lansing, Mason and Williamston. It is gratifying that, among hosts and drivers, there are many enthusiastic repeaters! The ESL teachers are ever willing to help-and that is much appreciated.

Coffee Partners provides two home visits a year for students attending the Haslett English as a Second Language program. For more informa-tion, call or email Lorrie Dyal (349-5799 or ledjod@ameritech.net) or Margaret Gunn (676-5376 or bmgunn1@juno.com).
