GLOBAL FESTIVAL 2005 - IT'S FREE!

Many hands are working to put on a wonderful Global Festival on Sunday, November 13, 2005. We are pleased to work with a great group of people at the MSU Union who host the Festival and the international students at MSU who are the stars of the day.

Performances by International students will feature music, dances and a fashion show. Eighteen or more student groups will be eager to talk about their countries at their colorful exhibits. Pick up a passport and get it stamped or have your name written in various languages.

The children's area will have international games led by MSU students from Park, Recreation and Tourism Resources. Inter-national food will be available in the Global Café from noon to three as well as ala carte throughout the event.

The World Gift Shop sells items from around the world. Come and do your Christmas shopping at the Festival. All funds raised will go to the CVIP scholarship fund for spouses of international students.

If you are able to help before the day of the festival or on the day of the festival, please call Ruth Fienup (347-2920) or Stacey Bieler (332-0464). You can find more details at the website, www.isp.msu.edu/ oiss/globalfest.

Bring your family, friends, children and grandchildren. Tell your scout troop, neigh-bors, and social clubs about the great opportunity to interact with people from around the world. See you there!
