The Lending Center is continuing to attempt to meet some of the immediate needs of our newly arriving international students, faculty and visitors.  In addition to linens for the bedroom and bath, we provide household items such as pots and pans, dishes, and other kitchen provisions.

Our new arrivals need can openers, water kettles, and especially lamps, since the lighting in the MSU apartments is next to nonexistent.  They especially appreciate the floor lamps, but we just can't keep up with the demand.

Our supply of scissors is another high demand area, and we can't keep them in stock either.  We need more of you readers to go to ACO Hardware when they adver-tise a ten-cent sale on scissors, because there is a limit of one pair per household.
