Date: Thursday, 04 Apr 2013 Time: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Location: 103 Erickson Hall (Kiva)

Description

Join us for a screening and presentation by Jasmine Ching-hui Lee, filmmaker for a Taiwanese documentary film titled  Money and Honey (2011). The film documents the lives of Southeast Asian migrants who take care of the elderly at senior residential care homes in Taiwan and, more generally, the changing concepts of "home" and "the family" brought about by globalization. The documentary has received wide critical acclaim at several film festivals, including the Pusan International Film Festival and the Women Make Waves Film Festival in Taipei.
