Uriel Abulof is an associate professor of politics at Tel-Aviv University and a senior research fellow at Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School. He will present on the Zionist movement's immersion in existential dread about the very survival of the Jewish people, and their state. While espying the abyss, Zionists have sought a moral horizon: legitimating the Jewish state. Yet the seeming failure to become "a nation like all nations" has augmented Zionist fears and deepened doubts about the very possibility of legitimating Israel. Dr. Abulof will discuss the severe implications of this.
