Storrs Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic caters to low-income taxpayers, including international students, who are in need of tax help. The Tax Clinic is comprised of both law students and supervising licensed attorneys. Information relating to the Clinic's clients is kept in strict confidence. Do you struggle to find the time to prioritize writing in your schedule? Come write in solidarity with fellow gender scholars in a space set aside for this purpose the first Friday of every month from 12pm-3pm in room 204 International Center!

The Center for Gender in Global Context (GenCen) will provide a quiet space for faculty, staff, and students to escape from distractions and work on their scholarship. If you struggle to find space in your calendar to prioritize your writing, then consider this time as required attendance :) Participants will need to provide their own laptop and other working supplies. GenCen will provide brain fuel (light snacks) and an open, welcoming environment!

The Asian Studies Center and Peace and Justice Studies present the Genocide and Politicide in Asia Colloquium, which deepens our knowledge of Southeast Asia as a region from transnational perspectives by bringing outstanding scholars from around the world to the Michigan State University campus in spring 2018. Through lectures based on their cutting-edge research, these scholars will illustrate innovative ways to understand history, culture, society, as well as religion in Southeast Asia beyond national and regional boundaries. Lead by Phelim Kine, Human Rights Watch.
