2017 VIPP Photo Essay Contest Winners Announced

"America Through Your Lens" - The 2017 VIPP Photo Essay Contest is over and the winners have been declared!

Every year, the Visiting International Professional Program (VIPP) at Michigan State University (MSU) hosts a photo essay contest called "America through your Lens." The goal of this contest was to listen to VIPP participants' unique perspectives and voices studying and living at MSU and in Michigan and give them an opportunity to share with VIPP and MSU families. The winners were announced during the annual VIPP Thanksgiving Potluck.

The winners of the 2017 VIPP Photo Essay Contest are:

1st Place ($150 cash prize)A Sip of Life by Lei Zhong

2nd Place ($100 cash prize): Roses Bloom in Spartan Village by Lei Zhang

3rd Place ($50 cash prize): Go Green, Meet Another Self by Bo Yang

Honorary Mention ($30 cash prize):  Hope by Yangkai Jin

Congratulations to the winners of the contest and thank you to everyone who submitted their photo essays! 

Lei Zhong, the winner of the 1st prize received a cash prize $150 by Dr. Xinyu Wu, Director of VIPP at Thanksgiving Party.
