MSU International - MSU Global Focus Photo Competition
MSU Global Focus Photo Competition

The Michigan State University Office of International Studies and Programs and the Michigan State University Alumni Association are co-sponsoring MSU Global Focus, the first annual international photography competition for MSU students, faculty, staff, retirees, alumni and Alumni Association members. Although all styles of photography may be submitted, preference will be given to entries that artistically depict some connection between MSU's mission and the rest of the world and that are of broad interest to a diverse viewing audience.

Winners' work will be enlarged and displayed in the MSU International Center and at select MSU Alumni Association venues. The MSU Web site will display the winning entries, including "honorable mentions." Some winning photos may be used in ISP and Alumni Association publications. Winning entries will also be featured at the annual MSU International Awards Ceremony, April 12, 2000.

The deadline for entries is Wednesday, September 15, 1999, and judging will be completed by early October.

For more information, see the official competition documents on the Web site at http://www.isp.msu.edu/photo or contact MSU Office of International Studies and Programs, 207 International Center, East Lansing, MI 4824-1035 USA; telephone 517/355-2350.
