Who's Who

Hudzik Named President of AIEA

John Hudzik, dean of International Studies and Programs, assumed his duties as 2002-2003 president of the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) (http://wings.buffalo.edu/intled/aiea/) at the organization's annual meeting in March. The organization's membership includes "senior international officers," such as deans and associate provosts with international program responsibilities, from the nation's leading colleges and universities and representatives from educational institutions in several other countries. A number of other international education organizations are linked to AIEA as affiliate members. Created in 1982, AIEA's stated purposes are to:

  • Provide an effective voice on significant issues within international education at all levels
  • Improve and promote international education programming and administration within institutions of higher education
  • Establish and maintain a professional network among international education institutional leaders
  • Cooperate in appropriate ways with other national and international groups having similar interests
