The Office of Study Abroad is seeking a graduate student intern for fall 2013 to work with the director and the assistant director for academic outreach on facilitating and promoting an institution-wide agenda of research and scholarship about MSU study abroad programs and students' international learning experiences. The internship will include working with existing/ongoing research projects in the colleges, supporting faculty wishing to engage in such research, and contributing to OSA-led research initiatives. Depending on the status of a given research project at the time of a student's internship, opportunities may arise for co-authoring articles and/or co-submitting conference proposals. ]]>The Office of Study Abroad is seeking a graduate student intern for fall 2013 to work with the assistant director for academic relations on planning, promoting, and implementing the second annual "Learning Abroad Conference" on November 15, 2013, co-sponsored by the Office of Study Abroad, the Office for International Students and Scholars, and the Faculty Learning Community on Teaching and Learning Abroad. The intern will have the opportunity to interact with MSU senior administrators including members of the Dean’s Designees on Study Abroad, faculty members in the Faculty Learning Community on Teaching and Learning Abroad, and other university partners as needed. He/she will serve as “day of conference” lead coordinator. Responsibilities will include a variety of planning and coordinating conference logistics, preparing presenter biographies and presentation submissions, as well as coordinating and participating in the presentation review process.
