MSU Announces $50,000 International Predissertation Travel Awards Competition; Application Deadline Published: Monday, 03 Apr 2006MSU announces the first competition for 10 awards of up to $5,000 each for foreign travel of MSU Ph.D. candidates at the predissertation stage in the Colleges of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Arts and Letters, Education, and Social Science. These awards will support travel abroad to the awardees intended dissertation research sites for a minimum 60-day stay during 2006.

Awards Ceremony to Highlight International Achievers Published: Wednesday, 22 Mar 2006Eleven MSU faculty, staff, alumni and students, and two members of the greater Lansing community, will be honored at the universitys annual international awards ceremony on Wednesday, March 29. MSU Phi Beta Delta International Honor Society Chapter Receives Top 2006 Award Published: Sunday, 19 Mar 2006Phi Beta Delta, the honor society dedicated to recognizing scholarly achievement in international education, has chosen MSUs Alpha Alpha chapter for the 2006 Eileen Evans Outstanding Chapter Award, the top honor for affiliates of the international organization. The award will be presented at the Phi Beta Delta / International Studies Association national conference in San Diego on March 23rd.

ISP Announces Internship Award Program Published: Wednesday, 08 Feb 2006ISP Acting Dean Jeffrey Riedinger recently announced the ISP Department of State Internship Award Program, which will provide stipends for MSU students participating in relevant internships. Only MSU students who have been accepted for summer 2006 State Department internships are eligible to apply.

International Awards Ceremony 2005 Honors 12 for International Engagement Published: Wednesday, 20 Apr 2005The 15th Annual International Awards Ceremony was held April 20 in the Delia Koo International Academic Center. This years ceremony, designated an MSU Sesquicentennial event, was dedicated to Professor Gill-Chin Lim, former dean of ISP, who died recently at the age of 58. Twelve individuals, including MSU faculty, staff, students, alumni, and volunteers, as well as community members received six distinct awards.
