The Muslim Studies Program and the Asian Studies Center at Michigan State University have been awarded more than $99,000 from the Social Science Research Council to study how Muslim American popular culture compares to other Muslim communities around the world.

Study Finds China's Agricultural Development at a Crossroads Published: Tuesday, 01 Mar 2011New research conducted by Michigan State University, Renmin University and Landesa shows China is at a crossroads in its agriculture development. As a result, MSU researchers suggest that China should protect land rights of all farm families and restrict corporate farming if it wants to close the income gap between cities and countryside.
