Charles A. Gliozzo, Ph.D., professor emeritus of the Department of History and former director for the Office of Study Abroad, has been appointed to serve as an ambassador of PromoDoc, a European Union sponsored initiative that seeks to promote doctoral studies in member states.

Fulbright-Hays Awards Support MSU Student Research in Africa, Europe and Latin America (/news/?id=65) Published: Monday, 10 Jul 2006Four MSU doctoral students have been awarded prestigious 2006-2007 Fulbright-Hays fellowships supporting six to twelve months of dissertation research activities abroad. Three of the recipients are in doctoral programs in the College of Education and the fourth is in the Department of Anthropology in the College of Social Science.

MSU Federal Credit Union Scholarships Support 47 Students for Study Abroad (/news/?id=38) Published: Thursday, 05 May 2005In 2003, the MSU Federal Credit Union established a $2.5 million endowment for MSU study abroad scholarships. Ambassadors Visit MSU for Sesquicentennial Events (/news/?id=28) Published: Monday, 25 Apr 2005During the week of April 14, ISP hosted four current and former ambassadors on campus for a series of events celebrating the universitys tradition of international engagement: Willard Bill A.
