Education - Teacher Professional Development

Tanzania has made remarkable strides towards universal primary education. However, the country's ability to train and keep high quality teachers has not kept pace. The Tanzania Partnership Program is supporting in-service professional development for teachers in Milola and Naitolia to provide them with the skills, knowledge, and materials needed to improve the quality of teaching and enhance student outcomes.

We also are working with the communities to improve living conditions for teachers in order to attract and retain teachers.
