Below are the minimum requirements for VIPP graduation.

1. Credit requirement of 18 credits per year
  • English or GIPCC courses (80% minimum attendance rate)
2. Required participation in key VIPP events
  • Orientation upon arrival
  • Welcoming Ceremony
  • Graduation Ceremony
  • Global Korea Awards
3. Participation

Participation is required in specified academic and/or global events at least once per regular semester, and a short written report on the event should be submitted to VIPP. Academic and/or global events that fulfill this requirement are
  • International seminars hosted by International Studies and Programs (ISP)
  • Academic seminars or special lectures related to a fellow's specialty area
  • Field research or visit to a site related to a fellow's specialty
Responsibility to complete minimum requirements of the program:

If a participant cannot meet the above requirements, she/he will not receive a graduation certificate, and VIPP will report any failure on the part of a participant to complete requirements to both the VIPP Academic Advisory Committee and the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS), which may prohibit extending or renewing a visa in the future.
