Join MSU's Peace Corps recruiters and Shannon (Nepal 2019-2020), Maida (Timor Leste, 2019-2020 and Colombia, 2022-2024) and Peace Corps Prep Programs Manager Joy Campbell (Morocco 1998-2000) to celebrate Peace Corps Week by painting MSU's famous Rock! Peace Corps Week is observed annually in late February to early March (around Peace Corps Day, which falls on March 1 and commemorates the day President John F. Kennedy established the Peace Corps in 1961), but we're shifting it a bit later due to MSU's spring break.
Painting the Rock will bring visibility to the Peace Corps program, steer people toward other Peace Corps Week activities, and serve as a fun social event and way for RPCVs and interested students to meet and network.
All are welcome--help us spread the word to RPCVs, interested students, Peace Corps Prep candidates, families of currently serving Volunteers, and anyone else who would like to join the fun.
Painting supplies and hot chocolate will be provided. No Rock-painting experience necessary!
