VIPP participants visited local homes, met with many families, and experienced American home life

On March 3rd, the Community Volunteers for International Programs (CVIP) hosted VIPP participants to get a glimpse of American home life in the Greater Lansing area. It was a wonderful opportunity for our professionals to see some local homes and neighborhoods, and meet the people that make up our community.

We are grateful to the event organizers, the drivers, and the hosts for their kindness and hospitality. Participants enjoyed house tours and learning about families’ heritage and history. Above all, they appreciated the conversations and discussions, and learning from each other over tea and homemade refreshments.

Community engagement offers incredibly rewarding experiences for international visitors to MSU. We look forward to partnering with CVIP in the future!
