Studying abroad was most definitely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I could not be more thankful. The Giraffe in Kenyathings I got to see while in Kenya, were indescribable. From the wildlife in their natural habitat, to the culture of the tribal men and women, and even just the views of the mountains. Not only was everything as beautiful as I were to have hoped, but the knowledge I gained from this program could not be matched. I learned more about the behavior of animals than I would have ever hoped to. This not only will strengthen my application to veterinary school, but also just provides me the right sort of knowledge going into it.
