If so, come to this information meeting about the Gilman International Scholarship!
Learn about the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship for Study Abroad and hear tips for creating a successful application. To be eligible for the Gilman you must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant at the time of application or during the term abroad, and be planning to participate in a credit-bearing international program that lasts for at least 21 days in one country.
Students planning to study abroad in spring 2018 or summer 2018 can apply by the October 3, 2017, application deadline; there will be another deadline for summer 2018, fall 2018 and academic year programs on March 6, 2018.
Notifications for spring program applications will be made in November 2017. Notifications for early applications for summer 2018 programs will be made by February 2018.
