A new e-publication/website, MSU Today International Edition, debuted on April 27. The quarterly publication is a collaborative project of the units represented on the Forming International Partnerships Committee, including academic colleges, International Studies and Programs, University Relations, University Development, the Alumni Association, Admissions and Scholarships, Student Affairs and Services, Wharton Center, and several academic colleges.
MSU Today International Edition is intended to appeal to various MSU constituencies, including international alumni and other alumni living abroad; potential and current international students and scholars; domestic faculty, staff, and students involved in international activities; and anyone interested in MSUs wide range of international involvements.
The first issue includes a welcome from President Lou Anna K. Simon; a section of international campus news briefs; feature stories about the presidents and provosts recent trips to Asia, the opening of MSUs new Beijing office, and the 50th anniversary of International Studies and Programs; and additional pieces about study abroad, international students, and international alumni.
