This Pride Month, join RPCVs in hosting an information table at Lansing Pride in Old Town! While we are not officially representing Peace Corps due to the agency's need to comply with the current administration's executive orders--which disallow activities relating to diversity, equity, and inclusion--we will be at Pride to share about the Peace Corps as private citizens.
We invite you--especially LGBTQ+ RPCVs who feel comfortable sharing their stories--to join us for this Third Goal opportunity to chat about your Peace Corps experience. While our current campus Peace Corps personnel are allies, friends, and family to the LGBTQ+ community, none of us can speak personally to serving as an LGBTQ+ Volunteer.
Organizers will bring information about applying and serving, but YOUR stories will make the booth come to life! Please sign up here to join us for a shift (one of our recruiters will always be there) and then feel free to explore the rest of the fabulous activities Pride offers!
Our table will be open 1:00-7:00pm, rain or shine (we'll have a tent!). Feel free to stop by and say hi, or sign up below to commit to a shift. We will post our exact booth number and location when we receive it from event organizers.
Not an RPCV but going to Pride? Stop by and say hello! We always love connecting with people who may be interested in service or just want to learn "more about the Corps!"
