MSU Spartans work every day in communities around the globe to make life better.
The SPARTANS WILL. POWER Global Day of Service, set for April 13, 2013, is our way of showing the world the extraordinary impact Spartans can make in a single day. This organized, collaborative effort will bring Spartans together to serve others in their communities while demonstrating the reach and power of the Spartan network.
How it Works
MSU alumni clubs and groups and student organizations are now developing group service projects around the world. Beginning March 1, members of these organizations as well as individual service-minded Spartans—alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends—can register to participate in an established student service group project (http://www.serviceday.msu.edu/students.php) or MSU Alumni Association group project (http://www.serviceday.msu.edu/find-join-project.php) or volunteer on their own (http://www.serviceday.msu.edu/register.php)on April 13.
