Biography: Cindy Fiser (she/her) earned her PhD in Entomology with a dual-degree in the Ecology, Evolution and Behavior in 2025 from Michigan State University, and her BS in Applied Ecology from Michigan Technological University. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Malawi (2018-2020), assisting her community with natural resource management, conservation efforts, and food security. Her work as a volunteer influenced both her professional and personal interests in conservation agriculture and community engaged research. She joined ISP as a Peace Corps Recruiter from 2022-2025, and again in August 2026.
