Event Details:

UPDATE 2/20/23: The Rock continues to serve as a space for solace and reflection. We will postpone our plans to paint the Rock for Peace Corps Week and will choose a later date to draw attention to Peace Corps Programs on campus. 

UPDATE 2/16/23: Given Monday's tragic events on campus, we may modify our Rock event. Right now the Rock is a place of memorial and reflection, and we wouldn't dream of disturbing the sacredness of this space for a long as it is providing solace to our shattered campus community. We will make updates here and on the Facebook event page as Peace Corps Week draws closer.

Join MSU's Peace Corps recruiters Sam (Morocco 2017-19), Caitlin (Cameroon 2014-15), and Peace Corps Prep program manager Joy Campbell (Morocco 1998-2000) to kick off Peace Corps Week by painting MSU's famous Rock! This will bring visibility to the Peace Corps program, steer people toward other Peace Corps Week activities, and serve as a fun social event and way for RPCVs and interested students to meet. 

All are welcome - help us spread the word to RPCVs, interested students, Peace Corps Prep candidates, families of currently serving Volunteers, and anyone else who would like to join the fun.

Painting supplies and hot chocolate will be provided. No Rock-painting experience necessary!
