CLACS has won a 3-year grant from the Tinker Foundation to fund pre-dissertation research by graduate students. We gratefully acknowledge the matching funds provided by Dean Steve Hanson of ISP and Dean Thomas Jeitschko of The Graduate School. Information about how to apply is available on the CLACS website and in our bi-weekly bulletins. Applications are due February 28.

Funds from the Tinker Foundation will support research in Spanish-speaking and Portuguese-speaking countries of Latin America. CLACS will continue to offer CLACS Graduate Student Research Grants for work in other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean with funds from the CLACS Endowment.
