Today, January 18th, VIPP hosted orientation for over 20 new visiting professionals at the International Center. VIPP staff welcomed new participants, introduced the history of MSU and VIPP, and provided many resources to help them maximize their stay in the United States.

Our spring class consists of 8 faculty members from Nanjing Agriculture University (NAU), 5 scholars from Korea's KDI School, and a few others from several organizations in South Korea and China. VIPP is proud that our professionals come from diverse backgrounds like business, biology, food science, computer science, sports journalism, trade economy, and much more.

Our participants will be at MSU from as short as 3 months to one year. They will spend their time taking classes, studying at MSU and exploring Michigan and the U.S. While introducing themselves, our participants exclaimed that they were most excited to come to MSU and expressed their openness to learning more about American Culture and enhancing their English skills. Many participants voiced how excited they were to meet the other participants and look forward to becoming good friends.

VIPP welcomes our spring class 2019!

During the orientation, participants took an interactive quiz where they tested their knowledge about MSU.

Whoever answered the question correct during the interactive quiz would win a MSU lanyard.

VIPP is happy to welcome our new spring class. We hope the participants have a semester filled with learning and great experiences!
