Biography: Maida Walters (she/her) served in the Peace Corps in Timor Leste (2019-2020) as an Educational Development volunteer and Colombia (2022-2024) as a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) volunteer. She has worked as a classroom teacher (ELA and Spanish) in Minnesota and Montana. She's a current graduate student in the MA TESOL program and teaching assistant through the English Language Center. She loves running, the outdoors, and spending time with her adopted Colombian dog, Arequipe. She joined ISP as a Peace Corps Recruiter in August 2025.
