Dolgorjav Munkhbayer, Mongolia

Dolgorjav Munkhbayar is a dedicated civil servant who believes strongly in ensuring everyone’s interest is represented in the policymaking process. Currently, Dolgorjav is the Superintendent (Referent) at the Financial Regulatory Commission, Mongolia’s authority for regulation and supervision of financial markets. In this role, Dolgorjav is responsible for the FRC’s foreign policy development, expansion of its cross-border collaboration, and the proper implementation of nationwide and sector-specific programs and projects in the financial market.

During her program, Dolgorjav plans to take courses in public policy, policy development and analysis, project management, and regulatory frameworks; gain best practices for utilizing public-private partnerships for business eco-systems; and explore strategies for bringing Mongolia’s financial market development to the international stage. Ultimately, Dolgorjav plans to apply the insights gained over her fellowship to ensure equal access to finance for all, improve public financial literacy, and direct businesses toward more sustainable practices.
