This experience was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.

In addition to studying water use, I also built great relationships with my peers and got to experience what New South Wales, Australia has to offer, including attending a FIFA Women's World Cup game (France v. Panama).

Australia as a country, helped to further my understanding of sustainability through completely different lens that what can be found in the United States.

Overall, the First-Year Seminar Abroad program is a great way Gavyn and friends at a soccer game in Australiafor first-year students to meet peers and professors before classes begin.
